Oha leaf is a type of green leafy vegetable popular in Nigerian cuisine, particularly in the Igbo ethnic group. Scientifically known as Pterocarpus mildbraedii, it’s also called ora leaf in some regions. Oha leaf is characterized by its distinctively strong and slightly bitter flavor, which adds depth to soups and stews.
