Description
Kellogg’s Rice Krispies is a breakfast cereal made of crisped rice (rice and sugar paste that is formed into rice shapes or “berries,” cooked, dried, and toasted). Known for its distinctive “snap, crackle, and pop” sounds when milk is added, Rice Krispies have been a popular choice for breakfast since their introduction in 1928.
The cereal is also famous for being the main ingredient in Rice Krispies Treats, a popular homemade snack made with marshmallows and butter.
